Weston-super-Mare Motor Club has been registered as an MSA recognised motor club since 1957 and caters for all ages and a variety of motor sport activities. The membership level normally exceeds 100 and therefore is able to provide a thriving calendar of competitive and social events throughout the year.
Club members have diverse interests, racing, rallying, speed hillclimbs, sprints, autocross and autotests, in fact just about every facet of motor sport is catered for.
The club meets for a social evening on the first Thursday of every month at the:

From 8.30pm and welcomes new members.
Members also receive a monthly magazine, ‘AUTOCHAT’ which publishes members event reports, forthcoming events throughout the region and many motor sport news items including articles on members cars.

‘WESTON SANDOCROSS’
On the beach at Weston-super-Mare, this unique event in mainland UK is an Autocross on sand. Classes for many types of cars, including specials and production saloons and rally cars. Provides 4 abreast motor racing at affordable cost.

Each month Weston Motor Club runs a club AUTOTEST . These events are for standard road cars as well as Autotest specials. A series of driving tests set around a course marked by traffic cones and against the clock… test of driving skill and memory… good fun as well as being competitive, held on grass as well as sealed surface

Marshalling – at all forms of motor sport. This aspect is not only a good place to learn about motor sport, but also provides valuable assistance to the organisers of events, we are looking for a marshalling team lead by Jeff Gunton (contact details on contact page) so get out there and get into motorsport.
